Pictrography Printing

Pictrography prints are extremely high quality colour prints made from photographs, digital camera files and scans. Digital technology allows full colour balancing, retouching and other enhancements to be made to the image before it is printed, and the file is archived for subsequent reprinting if required.

Pictrography prints are made on glossy paper with the same weight, look and feel of traditional photographic paper. They make excellent prints from all originals, and don't have the contrast problems associated with making prints from slides and transparencies. Remarkably, no chemistry is used, making production very environmentally friendly. The quality of the image is superb.

Copy prints from old photos (or prints that have no negatives) are made on the Pictrography printer. The original is scanned and the resulting file printed. The result is often better than the original! If the original photo is damaged and requires repairing, see the Restoration section of this website - click here. Photographic prints from artwork can also be made this way.

Colour prints from slides, transparencies and negatives are charged as below.

Prints are charged as below for full A-size prints, but traditional sizes are still printed if required. For example a 10x8inch print would fit on an A4 sheet, and a 5x7inch print would fit onto an A5 sheet.
